STEP 8 - SELECT YOUR DRYSUIT SEAL CHOICE

All DUI Drysuits include your choice of drysuit seals including ZipSeals* Drysuit seals Silicone ZipSeals by DUI ZipSeals allow divers the ability to instantly change their seals. Rip a seal just before a dive? No problem - just grab your spare ZipSeal in your dive bag and in a minute you can have it zipped onto your DUI and you are diving! ZipSeals also allow divers the opportunity to change from a ZipSeal wrist to a ZipGlove in minutes so the diver can have completely dry hands. ZipSeals are available in WRIST
[expand title="SILICONE"]DUI’s newest and most popular seals, silicone provides excellent stretch and are considered by many to be the most comfortable seal. Silicone is also very resistant to ozone and UV. Many find these to be the driest of all of the seals and excellent for divers with pronounced wrist tendons. Excellent for those with latex or rubber allergies. These seals are trimmed to fit.[/expand]
[expand title="LATEX"]Made with 100% natural hypo-allergenic rubber. These seals are more durable and puncture resistant than silicone. These seals are trimmed to fit.[/expand]
[expand title="HEAVY-DUTY LATEX"]Similar to the standard latex, these are made with a clay compound making them thicker. Some people feel that they last longer due to this. However it should be noted that they can leak on people with more prominent tendons or people with bony wrists. These seals are trimmed to fit.[/expand]

[expand title="LATEX/ATTACHED HOOD COMBO"]This is a neck seal and hood combination. This is designed to be worn when it is necessary that the head stay dry. It must always be worn with some type of insulation (i.e. DUI Polartec 300 fleece beanie) for warmth and to create an air space so that the diver can clear their ears. Most popular in extremely cold environments or for diving in contaminated water. The neck seal is trimmed to fit.[/expand]
[expand title="G2 – SECOND GENERATION"]This neck ZipRing is 2.25” larger in diameter and almost 4” larger in circumference making it comfortably accommodate divers with larger head sizes. It also is thinner improving the flexibility. The G2 is available in latex only. These seals are trimmed to fit.[/expand]

While ZipSeals are by far the most popular choice on all new DUI drysuits due to their convenience, some divers prefer to have their seals directly attached to their suit. Therefore we continue to offer the following options:
[expand title="LATEX"]Available for the neck and wrist. Made with 100% natural hypo-allergenic rubber. Available for the neck and wrist. These seals are trimmed to fit.[/expand]
[expand title="HEAVY-DUTY LATEX"]Available for the neck only. Similar to the standard latex, these are made with a clay compound making them thicker. Some people feel that they last longer due to this. However it should be noted that they can leak on people with more prominent tendons or people with bony wrists. Available for the wrist only. These seals are trimmed to fit.[/expand]
[expand title="NEOPRENE"]Available for the neck and wrist. Neoprene seals are much less common. Benefits are durability and warmth. Drawbacks are they tend not to be as dry and are more difficult to put on and take off. Neoprene neck seals are not recommended for women as their neck is often much smaller in proportion to their head size then men. As the neoprene does not stretch as much, it can be extremely difficult to get on and off and if they can, it may not be small enough to seal well on the neck. Neoprene seals are available as follows and neck/wrist measurements are required as they are sized to fit: Neck Fold Under Wrist Fold Under Wrist Cone [/expand]
*ZipSeals are available as an upgrade on DUI’s Value Priced TLSSE drysuit Only DUI offers drysuit seals in neoprene, silicone, latex and ZipSeals.
